Our Purpose

At GVSU Pre-Med Club, we are a group of aspiring physicians dedicated to supporting each other's pre-medical journey. We work with local organizations, medical professionals, advisors, admissions professionals, and more to provide our members with supplemental resources that will further aide them in their pre-medical journey. Meeting Six- 11/11/25

Hi all! Thank you all for another great meeting! We had Michele Duval-Martin from CLAS advising come in and give us a presentation on the Early Assurance Program that GVSU has between us and some medical schools in Michigan. Meeting Five- 10/28/25

Hi all! Thanks to everyone who attended our last meeting! We were lucky enough to hear from a local family physician, Dr. Devan Dykstra. Dr. Dykstra is also a GVSU grad and was able to provide some great insight into the pre-medical and medical school processes! Once he went through an overview of those basics, he gave a short lecture on patient communication. Linked below will be Dr. Dysktra's slides.
